Following the land.
A tropical residence shaped around the contours of the rice-field landscape. Timber, concrete and generous openings create a close relationship between the rooms and their surroundings.
The home is conceived for private life and longer stays, with room to open out to the landscape or withdraw into shade. Its organisation follows the contours of the site. Generous openings connect the interiors and terraces, with timber and concrete bringing warmth and structure to the rooms.

Life, within
and beyond.
The architecture follows the contours of the rice-field landscape. Generous openings and sheltered terraces connect the interiors to the outlook, while timber and concrete bring warmth and structure to the tropical setting.
Interior and exterior are considered together. The relationship between rooms, terraces, and the landscape allows daily life to open outward, with shaded spaces to withdraw into when needed.
