THE HOME / THE BRIEF

Life close to the ocean.

A family residence conceived around an active outdoor life. Privacy, durable natural materials and spaces for movement guide the design in a demanding coastal climate.

The owners’ brief centres on an active life at home: places to gather, move and recover, balanced by quieter family spaces. Outdoor rooms and a lap pool extend the daily living areas. Natural materials are considered for the coastal climate, with privacy and durability guiding the details.

THE DESIGN RESPONSE

Life, within
and beyond.

The coastal setting asks for carefully chosen natural materials and details that can withstand the tropical climate. The brief combines family privacy with space for an active outdoor life.

Outdoor rooms, a lap pool, and proposed gym and spa facilities support the daily rhythm of movement and recovery. Quieter private rooms balance the shared spaces for family and guests.
